Terms & Conditions

Please Read This Agreement: This is a Customer Service Agreement between Laundry Town and you (“Customer”), an individual or company, for pickup and delivery wash and fold laundry and dry cleaning services. Laundry Town reserves the right to deny service to any customer at our discretion. The following terms and conditions of service apply to your service agreement:

Limitation of Liability: The customer agrees not to include any of the following items inside their wash and fold laundry bag given to Laundry Town representatives for service: (i) non-washable items; (ii) items that are labeled for hand washing and/or dry cleaning only, or (iii) any other items not suitable for machine washing/drying or dry cleaning. Clothes left to be separated by Laundry Town will be divided into lights and darks. A separate load will be made for whites at the option of the customer. Laundry Town does not bear any responsibility for damages caused by colorfastness. The customer is responsible for any and all damage caused by any items left in the customer’s clothing or laundry bag that cause damage to the clothing of any customer, Laundry Town’s machinery, or any other property of Laundry Town or its other parties or customers. Laundry Town is not responsible for, and shall not pay for, any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended by the customer for pickup. You agree that Laundry Town may refuse to launder an item and send it back unwashed with an explanation, if we think it will become damaged or damage other items. For dry cleaning, missing or damaged items must be reported to Laundry Town within 24 hours of dropoff. For wash and fold, we can’t accept claims for individual items. If a customer is able to provide proof of purchase and purchase amount of the lost or damaged item, Laundry Town may provide a refund up to ten times the value of the requested service. Laundry Town is not liable for any preexisting damage to garments and reserves the right to return any item without cleaning it if any preexisting damage is found or if we have a concern about the colorfastness or the age or weakness of the fabric.

Payment: Customer agrees to pay the total amount according to the payment agreement. All laundry turned in to Laundry Town by an authorized user of that account will be cleaned and any extra kilogram charges and dry cleaning charges will be added directly to this account. The customer must pay the agreed upon charges prior to or upon delivery. If a customer misses a dropoff, a delivery surcharge will be added to the customer’s account and prior payment must be made before another delivery can be attempted. All sales are final and all payments are non-refundable. The Customer agrees to allow Laundry Town to charge his or her store credit account whenever an order is received. Laundry Town service will auto-pay each order for existing customers using the prepaid account. If the prepaid balance is insufficient to cover the costs of an order, the customer will be notified and the account must be settled before or during delivery. For customers who pay during dropoff, the customer is responsible for carrying the exact change. Laundry Town will make every effort to carry a reasonable amount of change, but may be depleted due to previous pickups. In the event of neither party having the correct change, Customer has the option to have the difference credited to his/her account. For cash payments, only local currency can be accepted.

Refunds: A customer who has signed up for a prepaid plan will have the right to a refund within 30 calendar days. If a refund request is made during days in which Laundry Town is closed, proof of email correspondence is needed. Refunds can only be made in local currency or USD at market rates plus 2%, to cover foreign exchange fees. With respect to requested refunds after said 30 day period, Laundry Town shall have no obligation to refund any amounts paid by the customer and will address such requests on a case-by-case basis.

Pickups and Deliveries: The Customer agrees to set a time period where the driver can come pick up or drop off the Customer’s clothes. The time period must start from the time the Customer scheduled with Laundry Town. For example, a 13:00 pickup with a two hour time period would require the customer to be at the predetermined location from 13:00 until at least 15:00. Due to extreme weather, vehicle breakdowns, traffic, and other factors, Laundry Town can’t be held responsible for late arrival times. In the event of a missed pickup time due to late arrival on Laundry Town’s part, another pickup time will be scheduled at no charge to Customer.

Order Cancellation: Customer agrees to notify Laundry Town 24 hours in advance for any cancellations. If Customer fails to notify Laundry Town within the 24 hour time period, a delivery surcharge will be added to Customer’s account.

Information Privacy: Laundry Town will only use Customer’s information for the purposes of contacting the customer concerning an order or for issues regarding our service. Laundry Town will not sell or share Customer’s information with any parties. If Customer would like their information removed from our system, a typed request must be made via email. Such requests will be processed within 3 business days of receipt.

Laundry Town Property: Premium hangers and reusable packaging remain the property of Laundry Town. Such items are left with Customer solely for their convenience and do not imply transfer of ownership. When Customer no longer intends on using the service or plans on leaving town, all premium hangers and reusable packaging must be returned to Laundry Town immediately. Failure to do so will result in a collection effort on behalf of Laundry Town. If a period of 30 days passes where Customer does not use any services of Laundry Town, Laundry Town will act in a reasonable way to collect its property including emails, phone calls, or any other method of communication which was used between Customer and Laundry Town. Lastly, Customer has the option to purchase the items at a fair market value if they do not wish to return them.
